Actor Weekly Workshops
Established

Suitable for actors with professional training and/or professional experience. This weekly workshop provides you with the opportunity to work alongside fellow peers, gaining further experience outside the training environment. 

As a co-operative, attendance will require you to participate in the success of this group and future workshops. It’s a collaboration between experienced actors to develop and create opportunities in a friendly inclusive environment.

Emerging

Actors with professional training and little or no professional experience. This weekly workshop provides you with the opportunity to work alongside fellow actors and gain further experience outside the learning environment.

TUESDAY 12th MARCH - SCRIPT STUDIES

with John Robert-Partridge

John is a theatre director, producer and actor, founder of Tread the Boards Theatre and current Artistic Director of The Attic Theatre in Stratford upon Avon. John also sits on the panel for initial and recall auditions at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire alongside being a director and lecturer for Shakespeare, audition technique, Scene Studies and Text Analysis. 

Script Studies Workshop - When looking at a text it can be overwhelming to dissect the play, the relationships and characters. This masterclass will explore ways to unlock a text, how to apply units, objectives, obstacles and actions. Getting a text up on its feet and playing with it to discover the various ways it can be approached.
